Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has successfully commissioned a 57.2 MW wind power component of its wind-solar hybrid project located at Khavda, Gujarat. This marks a significant milestone for AGELโs renewable energy portfolio. With the commissioning of this new plant, AGELโs total operational renewable energy capacity now stands at 11,666.1 MW.
The decision to operationalize the plant was made on January 14, 2025, with power generation officially commencing on January 15, 2025. This addition to AGELโs renewable energy infrastructure underscores the company’s commitment to expanding its clean energy capacity and contributing to Indiaโs renewable energy goals.
The plantโs successful commissioning adds to the growing number of renewable energy projects being executed by Adani Green Energy, further solidifying its position as a leader in Indiaโs green energy sector.
