NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam Limited (NVVN) has invited online bids for the development of a 1,300 kW grid-connected rooftop solar power project at DRDO Delhi. The bidding process follows a single-stage, two-envelope system where bidders must submit separate techno-commercial and financial proposals. The tender is open to eligible bidders who meet the specified criteria.
The project will be financed through external or domestic commercial borrowings or NVVNโs own sources. Interested bidders must ensure compliance with all technical specifications, scope of work, and terms and conditions outlined in the documents.
Bidders are required to have relevant experience in similar projects and must meet financial criteria specified in the document. They should also conduct a site visit to assess installation conditions before submission. The bidding process requires participants to have a Class-3 digital signature certificate (DSC) for electronic submission.
The tender specifies that all bids must include bid security of INR 5,00,000. Any bid without this security deposit will be rejected. Additionally, bidders must register with the competent authority if they have any Transfer of Technology (ToT) agreements with entities from countries sharing a land border with India.
NVVN reserves the right to accept or reject any bid without providing a reason. Bidders are advised to carefully review all requirements and submit proposals accordingly. The last date for document download and bid submission is 18 February 2025, while the clarification period ends on 4 February 2025. All bids must be submitted through the e-procurement portal within the stipulated timeline.
