BG Energy Solutions Acquires K-One Energy 2 to Strengthen Renewable Energy Portfolio

BG Energy Solutions (BGE), a subsidiary of Bangkok Glass Group, has signed an acquisition agreement for K-One Energy 2, a subsidiary of Kemrex under the Sutee Group. The acquisition marks a strategic expansion of BGE’s investments in renewable energy, reinforcing its business capabilities and advancing BG Group’s sustainability objectives.

The signing ceremony was attended by Amarat Puvaveeranin, Deputy Group Chief Executive Officer and Chief Executive Officer – Renewable Energy Business of Bangkok Glass Group, who emphasized the significance of the acquisition and expressed appreciation to stakeholders involved in the process.

Among the witnesses present were Piyasak Bhumichitra, Director of BG Energy Solutions, and Somporn Temudomsomboon, Advisor to BG Energy Solutions. Representing K-One Energy 2 were Prasert Thammanoonkul, Chief Executive Officer of Kemrex and the Sutee Group, along with Pravaruj Thammanoonkul, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Technology, and Prateep Thammanoonkul, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Operations at Kemrex and the Sutee Group.

The acquisition aligns with BGE’s vision to expand its renewable energy portfolio, focusing on sustainable clean energy projects while maintaining responsible business practices. It also supports BG Group’s long-term sustainability strategy and contributes to Thailand’s energy security.
