Iraq Seeks to Join International Solar Alliance, Strengthens Economic Ties with India

Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia’ Al Sudani has announced that Iraq is seeking to join the International Solar Alliance (ISA), a global initiative headquartered in India aimed at promoting solar energy adoption to combat climate change.

The announcement came during Al Sudaniโ€™s meeting with the newly appointed Indian Ambassador to Iraq, Sumin Bagchi, where both sides discussed strengthening economic cooperation between the two nations.
