Canadian Solar Inc. announced that its residential energy storage solution, EP Cube, has been honored with the 2025 iF Design Award and the Gold Award at the 2025 MUSE Design Awards—recognizing the system’s outstanding innovation and design excellence.

Designed by Eternalplanet, a subsidiary of Canadian Solar, EP Cube was selected from tens of thousands of global entries submitted from over 60 countries. These prestigious accolades underscore the product’s standout design and engineering.

EP Cube features a minimalist aesthetic with sleek metal finishes and smooth, rounded edges, housed in an ultra-slim form factor that simplifies installation. The use of quick connectors in place of traditional wiring enables easy, stackable module configuration, significantly reducing installation time and complexity.

Each stackable battery module offers 3.33 kWh of capacity, with flexible system configurations ranging from 6.6 kWh to 19.9 kWh. EP Cube also supports three smart energy management modes—backup, self-consumption, and time-of-use—giving homeowners tailored control over their energy usage and savings. Susanne Pflug
, Chief Commercial Officer of Canadian Solar’s
Home Energy Storage Business Unit, said, “Our team is deeply honored by these recognitions for EP Cube. Since its launch, we have upheld a philosophy of meticulous craftsmanship and earned widespread acclaim across global markets.”
