Desco Infratech Joins Hands With KPI Green Hydrogen And Naveriya Gas To Launch India’s First Hydrogen-Natural Gas Blending Projects In The CGD Sector

Desco Infratech Limited has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with KPI Green Hydrogen and Ammonia Pvt. Ltd. and Naveriya Gas Pvt. Ltd. to jointly develop Hydrogen-Natural Gas Blending Projects in the City Gas Distribution (CGD) sector. The collaboration marks a significant milestone in India’s journey towards cleaner energy and reflects a shared vision of promoting sustainability and self-reliance under the Aatmanirbhar Bharat initiative.

Under this partnership, KPI Green Hydrogen and Ammonia Pvt. Ltd. will be responsible for producing green hydrogen, a key component in reducing dependence on fossil fuels and lowering greenhouse gas emissions. Desco Infratech Limited will play a crucial role by contributing its engineering and technological expertise to enable the blending of hydrogen with natural gas. Naveriya Gas Pvt. Ltd. will then integrate this blended fuel into its existing CGD network, ensuring that consumers have access to a sustainable and dependable energy supply.
