JA Solar, a trusted global leader in green energy solutions, and Australian solar technology innovator 5B have signed a landmark module supply agreement during the All Energy Australia 2025 exhibition. The agreement covers more than 100 megawatts (MW) of JA Solarโ€™s high-efficiency DeepBlue 4.0 Pro modules for a large-scale solar project in Western Australia โ€” marking the largest collaboration between the two companies to date.

Built on years of close technical cooperation, the partnership combines the complementary strengths of both companies to create greater value for solar developers. JA Solarโ€™s DeepBlue 4.0 Pro modules, renowned for their efficiency and reliability, have been extensively tested and optimized for seamless integration with 5Bโ€™s Maverick system โ€” a prefabricated, redeployable solar array designed to enable faster, safer, and more cost-effective solar farm deployment.

Engineered to withstand wind speeds of up to 93 meters per second, the Maverick system offers exceptional durability in extreme weather โ€” a key advantage as Australia approaches its peak storm season. When paired with JA Solarโ€™s advanced modules, the combined solution delivers accelerated installation, reduced balance-of-system costs, and reliable energy performance. This synergy enables shorter project timelines, lower operational risks, and stronger returns for customers operating in demanding conditions.

Their participation underscored the strategic importance of the partnership and the strong alignment between both companies in advancing commercial, engineering, and market development initiatives across the region.

“This agreement is more than a supply contract, it is a blueprint for how global technology and local ingenuity can come together to deliver real-world impact,” said Daniel Li. “By combining JA Solar’s proven module performance with 5B’s advanced deployment technology, we are empowering customers with solutions that are bankable, scalable, and built for Australia’s unique conditions.”
