Polycab India Limited, one of the country’s leading electrical and fast-moving electrical goods (FMEG) companies, has announced the launch of its new Polycab Solar Kits at the Renewable Energy India (REI) Expo 2025, held in Greater Noida. The launch highlights Polycab’s growing focus on renewable energy and its commitment to offering customers convenient, ready-to-use clean energy solutions by integrating multiple products into one comprehensive kit.
Over the past few years, Polycab has strengthened its presence in India’s renewable energy sector through strategic investments and product innovation. In FY2024–25, the company achieved a combined renewable energy capacity of 32.755 MW across its wind and solar power assets. Currently, 17% of Polycab’s total electricity consumption is derived from renewable sources, which helped the company prevent over 31,000 tonnes of CO₂ emissions during the last financial year. This progress demonstrates Polycab’s active contribution to India’s clean energy goals and its broader sustainability roadmap.
The newly introduced Polycab Solar Kits provide an all-in-one solar energy solution designed to meet the diverse needs of residential, commercial, and rural users. Each kit includes high-efficiency grid-tie inverters, solar cables, AC/DC distribution boxes, and essential accessories such as earthing kits, connectors, and lugs. The kits are built to ensure reliability, ease of installation, and long-term performance, making solar adoption simpler and more practical for end users. This launch builds upon Polycab’s growing solar product portfolio, which already includes string inverters, solar cables, and other energy-efficient solutions.

In addition to the product launch, Polycab introduced an engaging sustainability initiative at the REI Expo through its partnership with Grow-Trees Organisation. Together, they established a Tree Plantation Zone under the campaign “Trees for Villagers” in Fatehabad, Haryana. Visitors to the Polycab pavilion can digitally plant a tree, receive an e-tree certificate, and track its growth over time. Each tree is planted by Polycab on behalf of the visitor, promoting shared responsibility towards environmental preservation. The initiative also features an interactive photo zone, encouraging participants to capture and share their contribution to inspire broader community participation.
