R.Power Renewables has begun construction of the 20 MW Klotze Solar Park in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. This marks the companyโs first utility-scale photovoltaic project in Germany and represents an important step in expanding its presence in Western Europe.
The Klotze project has been awarded a 20-year EEG support contract and adds to R.Power Renewablesโ growing solar portfolio in Germany, which now totals more than 115 MW of capacity. Once completed, the solar park will provide clean electricity to thousands of households, supporting Germanyโs decarbonization goals and helping to create a more resilient renewable energy system.
