Adani Green Energy Forms New Subsidiary Adani Ecogen Five To Boost Renewable Energy Portfolio

Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has expanded its corporate structure with the incorporation of a new step-down subsidiary, Adani Ecogen Five Limited (AE5L). The company was officially incorporated in India on January 1, 2026, with the Certificate of Incorporation issued the following day. AE5L has been established through Adani Renewable Energy Holding Eleven Limited (AREH11L), which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of AGEL. Consequently, AE5L also operates as a wholly-owned entity within the broader Adani Green Energy group. The new company is registered with the Registrar of Companies in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

Financial disclosures indicate that AE5L has an authorized and paid-up capital of Rs. 1,00,000. Currently, the company has reported no turnover as it has not yet commenced business operations. The primary objective of AE5L will be to generate and supply power from renewable energy sources, with a focus on solar, wind, or a combination of both.

The creation of AE5L aligns with AGEL’s strategy to strengthen its presence in the renewable energy sector and expand infrastructure for future green energy projects. By forming specialized subsidiaries, the company aims to streamline its operations and focus on developing specific renewable energy initiatives.
