First-Ever Solar & Storage Expo Bihar 2025 Marks a Strong Debut in Patna

The first-ever Solar & Storage Expo Bihar 2025, held at the Taj City Centre, Patna, concluded on a highly successful note, establishing itself as a landmark platform for Bihar’s renewable energy sector. The inaugural edition witnessed strong participation from senior government dignitaries, industry leaders, and clean energy stakeholders, underscoring the state’s accelerating momentum in solar and energy storage adoption.

The event commenced with an auspicious Lamp Lighting Ceremony, setting the tone for a day of policy dialogue, technology exchange, and industry collaboration. The Expo was honored by the presence of our Chief Guest, Dr. Dilip Kumar Jaiswal, Cabinet Minister, Department of Industries, Government of Bihar, as the Chief Guest, reaffirming the government’s commitment to strengthening Bihar’s clean energy and industrial ecosystem.

The inaugural session featured key addresses by Mr. Varun Gulati, CEO, FirstView Group; Mr. Ashok Kumar Singh, President – Solar Business, Novasys Greenergy Ltd.; and Mr. Ram Lall Khetan, President, Bihar Industries Association (BIA), followed by a special address from the Honorable Chief Guest outlining Bihar’s vision for sustainable industrial growth powered by renewable energy. Emphasizing the state’s clean energy potential, Mr Varun Gulati, CEO, FirstView Group, said, “Bihar is emerging as one of India’s most promising states in the clean energy transition. With rising demand, strong solar potential, and policy momentum, the opportunity now lies in converting this progress into scalable and bankable solar and storage projects.” Strengthening the knowledge-driven agenda, an Expert Talk on the “Bihar Policy for Promotion of Bihar New and Renewable Energy Sources 2025” was delivered by Mr. Subodh Kumar, Co-Chairman, Renewable Energy Committee, Bihar Industries Association.

The Expo also hosted two engaging panel discussions—“Solar for the People: Policy, Investment & Rural Transformation in Bihar” and “Surya Ghar & Solar Tech: Powering Bihar’s Homes and Enterprises”—sparking meaningful dialogue on policy support, financing mechanisms, rooftop solar adoption, and emerging technologies shaping Bihar’s clean energy future.

Beyond the conference sessions, the exhibition floor remained vibrant throughout the day, showcasing advanced solar modules, inverters, energy storage solutions, and digital technologies. The space witnessed high-impact networking, live demonstrations, and focused business interactions, paving the way for meaningful collaborations within Bihar’s renewable energy ecosystem.

The event concluded with the prestigious Energy Excellence Awards, recognizing solar and storage trailblazers for their leadership and innovation. The strong participation, buzzing exhibition floor, and presence of senior dignitaries firmly established the inaugural Solar & Storage Expo Bihar as a powerful new platform in India’s clean energy landscape.
