SPEV Sustainability Vietnam Co., Ltd. and Changshin Dong Nai Co., Ltd. have signed an agreement to deploy a rooftop solar power system at the Changshin factory, marking a key step in the companyโ€™s ESG roadmap and its commitment to reducing emissions in line with the RE100. The project will be executed with Nuriflex Vietnam Co., Ltd. serving as the EPC general contractor.

The contract-signing ceremony brought together senior representatives, technical teams, and operational staff from the participating companies. The event underscored Changshinโ€™s long-term strategy to transition toward clean energy, improve energy efficiency, and enhance sustainability within its global manufacturing supply chain.

During the ceremony, Kim Si Jung highlighted that renewable energy development is a critical long-term strategy for the company as it responds to increasingly stringent environmental standards from international markets and partners. He noted that Changshin aims to reduce reliance on conventional energy sources while accelerating its transition toward green manufacturing and sustainable operations in Vietnam.

Representing SPEV Sustainability, Nguyen Thanh Phat stated that the agreement reflects more than a commercial partnership. He emphasized that it demonstrates a long-term commitment to supporting Changshin in reducing carbon emissions and progressing toward carbon neutrality. SPEV, he added, will collaborate closely with both the factory owner and the EPC contractor to ensure the project is delivered on schedule while maintaining high technical standards and operational safety.

Under the agreement, the rooftop solar project will initially be deployed with a capacity of 1.25 MWp. Depending on implementation progress and Changshinโ€™s renewable energy roadmap, the project is expected to expand in subsequent phases to more than 30 MWp across multiple Changshin Vietnam facilities. The phased deployment strategy is designed to optimize operational performance and investment efficiency while enabling large-scale adoption of clean electricity across the companyโ€™s manufacturing operations.

As the EPC contractor, Nuriflex Vietnam will oversee project implementation, including engineering coordination and construction activities. Beyond the solar installation, the company is advancing a broader technology strategy focused on energy digitalization through its Factory Energy Management System (FEMS), which enables real-time monitoring and optimization of energy consumption in industrial facilities.

Nuriflex is also developing Virtual Power Plant (VPP) capabilities to integrate distributed energy resources and enable centralized energy dispatch through data-driven analytics platforms. Currently, the company is responsible for the operations and maintenance of more than 100 MWp of solar power capacity in Vietnam, providing extensive expertise in renewable energy management for industrial facilities.

Through collaborations with industrial parks and manufacturing partners, Nuriflex aims to establish a digitized energy network and expand smart energy management solutions across Vietnam and the broader region.

The partnership between SPEV Sustainability, Changshin Dong Nai, and Nuriflex Vietnam is expected to serve as a model for accelerating renewable energy adoption within the manufacturing sector. The signing ceremony held on March 5, 2026, also marks the beginning of Changshin Vietnamโ€™s broader energy transition strategy aimed at improving production efficiency, meeting ESG standards, and contributing to sustainable industrial development.
