The International Solar Alliance (ISA) and the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) have announced a new joint initiative to organize a series of major global energy events under one platform. As part of this plan, a formal Expression of Interest (EOI) was issued on 20 March 2026, inviting participation from interested agencies. The initiative will bring together three important eventsโ€”RE-INVEST, the International Conference on Green Hydrogen (ICGH), and the ISA Assemblyโ€”under a single banner.

The combined platform aims to become a key meeting point for global discussions on clean energy. It is expected to attract a wide range of participants, including Heads of State, government officials, industry experts, and innovators from across the world. The main objective is to promote the adoption of renewable energy technologies and encourage large-scale investments in the sector. By hosting these events together, the organizers are trying to create a stronger and more focused platform to support the global transition towards sustainable energy.

To handle the scale and complexity of the event, the ISA is looking to appoint experienced Event Management Agencies. These agencies will be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of the event. The eligibility conditions are strict, showing the importance and size of the gathering. Interested agencies must have prior experience in organizing large events with more than 2,000 participants and managing exhibition spaces of over 25,000 square meters.

As part of the selection process, a Bidder Consultation meeting has been scheduled for 30 March 2026. The meeting will be held at Atal Akshay Urja Bhawan in New Delhi. During this session, officials from ISA and MNRE will share more details about the project, including the scope of work and expectations from the selected agency. It will also give potential bidders an opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback. This feedback will help in finalizing the Request for Proposal (RFP) document.

Agencies interested in participating must submit their EOI to the ISA Secretariat. The submission should include a detailed company profile and the contact details of representatives who will attend the consultation meeting. Through this initiative, ISA and the Government of India aim to create a well-organized and impactful global platform that supports innovation, collaboration, and growth in renewable energy, while reinforcing their commitment to a cleaner and more sustainable future.
