FIMER has entered into an agreement with AMP to supply battery systems for AMP’s Battery Box initiative, a distributed energy storage solution aimed at strengthening local electricity networks and enhancing grid flexibility.
The collaboration marks a significant step for FIMER as it continues its growth trajectory following its acquisition by MA Solar UK. The partnership forms part of a broader effort to accelerate the energy transition through the deployment of distributed storage infrastructure.
Under the agreement, FIMER will supply 400 units of its PVX-215 battery systems, with project execution scheduled to begin in July and completion expected by the end of the year. AMP will oversee site development, installation, and deployment through its Battery Box platform, engaging with landowners and organisations interested in hosting energy storage systems.
The PVX-107/215-HV is a modular energy storage solution with capacities ranging from 107 kWh to 215 kWh, designed for commercial and industrial applications. The system features an IP55 protection rating, enabling outdoor deployment across diverse environmental conditions, and operates within a temperature range of -30°C to +55°C.
Antonio Verdi, co-CEO of FIMER, stated that the partnership reflects a shared commitment to advancing practical and scalable energy transition solutions. Meanwhile, Mark Tarry, CEO of AMP, highlighted that the Battery Box initiative is designed to integrate flexible energy storage into local grids, improving resilience and supporting evolving energy demands.
The agreement represents the initial phase of a broader collaboration between the two companies, focused on deploying distributed battery systems to enhance network stability and support the transition to more flexible and resilient energy systems.
