Bridge and Roof Co. (India) Limited has invited online bids for selecting an agency to carry out enabling works for a 26 MW floating solar PV project at Reservoir 1B of NTPC Sipat in Chhattisgarh. The tender covers a wide range of activities required to support the execution of the project and has an estimated value of around ₹59.36 lakhs. The selected contractor will be responsible for completing the work within six months from the date of issuance of the Letter of Intent.

The scope of work includes both technical and logistical tasks. These involve loading, unloading, and shifting of solar PV modules and other equipment, along with civil and electrical enabling works at the project site. Contractors will also need to handle area grading for module storage and manage the safe unloading and positioning of heavy equipment, such as inverter duty transformers and power transformers. In addition, the work includes handling transformer oil, radiator palettes, and cable drums, which require careful coordination and proper safety practices.

The tender was published on May 1, 2026, and the last date for bid submission is May 7, 2026, by 4:30 PM. The technical bids will be opened on May 8, 2026.
