The project has been developed by Adani Green Energy Twenty Five C Limited, which functions as a wholly-owned stepdown subsidiary of AGEL. According to the filing, the solar project became operational after receiving all required approvals and clearances from the concerned authorities. The commissioning of this project further strengthens AGELโs position as one of Indiaโs leading renewable energy companies. With the addition of the new 150 MW solar capacity, the companyโs total operational renewable energy generation capacity has now reached 19,735.8 MW. This portfolio includes solar, wind, and hybrid renewable energy assets spread across multiple regions in the country.
Apart from renewable power generation capacity, the company has also been expanding its energy storage infrastructure. AGEL stated that its total operational Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) capacity currently stands at 1,376 MWh. The growing focus on energy storage is expected to support grid stability and improve the integration of renewable energy into the national power system.
The official communication regarding the project commissioning was submitted to both BSE Limited and National Stock Exchange of India Limited to ensure the information is placed in the public domain for investors and stakeholders. The filing was signed by Pragnesh Darji, Company Secretary of Adani Green Energy Limited, from the companyโs corporate office located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
The Khavda region in Gujarat has emerged as one of Indiaโs major renewable energy hubs due to its strong solar and wind resources. Large-scale renewable energy developments in the region are playing a significant role in supporting Indiaโs clean energy transition and long-term sustainability goals. AGELโs latest project reflects the companyโs continued focus on expanding its green energy footprint through utility-scale renewable infrastructure projects across the country.
