Under the agreement, the partnership will initially focus on developing a 100 MW-scale solar-plus-storage project. The initiative is aimed at supporting the Philippines’ growing demand for reliable renewable energy solutions while addressing the unique challenges associated with the country’s geographically dispersed island grids.

As part of the collaboration, the partners will prioritize the deployment of distributed energy resources (DERs) and microgrid systems designed to enhance energy access, reliability, and grid resilience. TIANNENG will provide customized microgrid energy storage solutions equipped with voltage stabilization capabilities, autonomous off-grid operation, and multi-energy collaborative dispatch functions.

The energy storage systems will be tailored to meet varying project requirements, with capacities ranging from 10 MWh to 128 MWh and beyond. These solutions are expected to support more efficient renewable energy integration while improving power stability in remote and island communities.
