Loom Solar, one of India’s fastest-growing solar manufacturers, has reported a major financial milestone, crossing ₹1,000 crore in annual turnover, marking a significant phase in its growth journey since its establishment in 2018.
The company stated that the achievement reflects its continued focus on quality manufacturing, distribution expansion, and innovation-led product development, as it evolved from a bootstrapped startup addressing energy access gaps in rural India to a nationally recognised solar solutions provider.
Over the years, Loom Solar has expanded its presence across rooftop, commercial, and utility-scale solar segments, building a portfolio that includes high-efficiency solar modules such as SHARK Bifacial, TOPCon, and HJT technologies, along with CAML Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and FUSION Hybrid Inverters. All products are designed and manufactured in India.
Speaking on the milestone, Co-Founder and Director Amod Anand said the company was founded with the objective of addressing India’s energy access challenges, particularly in rural and Tier-3 regions where solar adoption was limited due to lack of awareness and infrastructure. He noted that reaching the ₹1,000 crore turnover level validates the company’s long-term vision of democratising solar energy access in the country.
Loom Solar highlighted that its growth has been supported by sustained investments in manufacturing capacity, distribution networks, and product innovation. The company currently operates integrated facilities producing PV modules, inverters, and storage systems, certified under ALMM, BIS, IEC, and ISO standards.
The company is targeting a manufacturing capacity of 1.2 GW for solar panels and 1 GW for inverters by 2026, strengthening its domestic production capabilities further.
With a workforce of over 300 employees, Loom Solar has built a nationwide distribution network supported by six regional warehouses across major cities including Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Lucknow, and Faridabad. The company also works with over 15,000 channel partners and 500 distributors, enabling wide market reach across India and select international markets in 11 countries.
Amod Anand further added that innovation has remained central to the company’s strategy, with product evolution mirroring India’s broader solar industry transformation—from early mono modules to advanced TOPCon and HJT technologies, along with integrated energy storage and hybrid inverter systems.
Looking ahead, Loom Solar has outlined its Vision 2030, aiming to install solar and energy storage systems in over one million homes across India. This ambition aligns with national initiatives such as the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana and PM-KUSUM scheme, which are driving large-scale renewable energy adoption.
To date, the company has served over one lakh customers and continues to expand its infrastructure to meet growing demand in the residential and commercial solar markets. It has also executed projects of up to 35 MW, reinforcing its position in India’s distributed solar segment.
Loom Solar said its future growth will be driven by continued focus on product innovation, execution efficiency, and strengthening customer partnerships as India advances toward its clean energy transition goals.
