Prozeal Green Energy Limited has announced its expansion into Uttar Pradesh with a new 60 MWp captive solar power project, marking a significant milestone in the company’s growing renewable energy portfolio.
The project will be developed in partnership with a leading steel and mining company to provide clean, captive solar power for its industrial operations. The installation is expected to help the company strengthen its energy security, reduce electricity costs, and significantly lower carbon emissions by replacing conventional power with renewable energy.
Captive solar projects are increasingly being adopted by energy-intensive industries as they seek to reduce operational expenses while advancing their decarbonisation goals. The new facility is expected to support sustainable manufacturing by supplying reliable renewable electricity to one of India’s major industrial sectors.
With this development, Prozeal Green Energy further strengthens its presence in northern India and reinforces its commitment to supporting the country’s transition toward a low-carbon economy. The company said the project reflects its continued focus on delivering large-scale renewable energy solutions that enable industries to meet their sustainability targets while contributing to India’s net-zero ambitions.
