Mangalam Worldwide Limited (MWL) has announced the successful installation and commissioning of a 10.4 MW DC ground-mounted solar power plant in Gujarat. The company disclosed the development through a regulatory filing dated July 13, 2026, submitted to the National Stock Exchange of India Limited (NSE) and BSE Limited under Regulations 30 and 51 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
The newly commissioned solar power plant is located at Handod in Karjan Taluka of Vadodara district, Gujarat. The project has been developed to meet the captive electricity requirements of the company’s Halol manufacturing unit. To ensure the long-term operation of the facility, Mangalam Worldwide Limited has secured the required land on a 25-year lease.
According to the company, the commissioning of the solar power plant marks an important step in expanding its renewable energy portfolio while supporting its sustainability goals. By generating clean electricity for captive consumption, the company expects to reduce its dependence on conventional power sources and improve energy security for its industrial operations.
MWL also stated that the project is expected to help lower its operational energy costs over the long term while significantly reducing its carbon emissions. The company believes the shift toward renewable energy will strengthen its environmental performance and contribute to more sustainable business operations.
In addition to the business benefits, the company said the project is expected to create positive environmental and social outcomes, support the surrounding community, and contribute to India’s renewable energy transition. The regulatory filing confirming the commissioning of the project was signed by Soham Raval, Company Secretary and Compliance Officer of Mangalam Worldwide Limited.
