Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited (WRTL), a subsidiary of Waaree Energies Limited, has secured two Letters of Award (LoAs) for the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of ground-mounted solar photovoltaic (PV) plants with a combined capacity of 800 MWac / 1,082 MWp. The company received the award letters on July 25, 2026.
According to the regulatory filing, the projects comprise one 400 MWac / 530 MWp solar PV plant and another 400 MWac / 552 MWp solar PV plant, taking the total awarded capacity to 800 MWac / 1,082 MWp.
The EPC contracts have been awarded by one of India’s leading renewable energy companies, although the customer has not been disclosed in the filing. The projects are domestic in nature and are scheduled to be completed during the financial year 2027-28, in accordance with the terms of the awards.
Waaree Renewable Technologies stated that the orders are commercial contracts and confirmed that neither the company’s promoters nor promoter group entities have any interest in the awarding entity. The company also clarified that the contracts do not constitute related-party transactions.
