NLC India Limited’s group gross power generation increased 25% year-on-year to 8,262.06 million units (MU) in the quarter ended June 30, 2026, compared with 6,609.40 MU in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.
The company’s group revenue from operations rose 23.29% to ₹4,716.75 crore during the quarter, compared with ₹3,825.61 crore in Q1 FY26. Group EBITDA increased 18.71% to approximately ₹1,699.59 crore, while profit before tax (PBT) grew 9.76% to ₹651.55 crore. Group net worth stood at ₹22,069.07 crore, representing a 13.11% increase from the previous year.
On a standalone basis, NLC India recorded 40.85 lakh tonnes of coal production, up 7.84% year-on-year, while thermal power generation increased 8.27% to 4,318.85 MU. Standalone revenue from operations rose 15.07% to ₹2,871.73 crore, while PBT increased 3.76% to ₹548.67 crore. The company also reported 100% power debtor collection efficiency as of June 30, 2026.
