REnergy Dynamics Infraworks (REDi) has secured the civil construction mandate for Phase 1 of a 6 GW solar cell and module manufacturing facility in Maharashtra, marking another significant addition to its industrial infrastructure portfolio.
The mandate strengthens REDi’s growing presence in large-scale industrial and clean energy infrastructure projects. Under the scope of the mandate, the company will undertake civil construction activities along with engineering coordination and on-ground project management for the manufacturing facility.
The project comes amid India’s continued efforts to expand domestic solar manufacturing capacity and strengthen its renewable energy supply chain. The development is expected to contribute to the infrastructure supporting the country’s growing solar manufacturing ecosystem.
REDi said the mandate reflects its focus on delivering large-scale industrial infrastructure with an emphasis on speed, quality, execution capability and project management. The project further reinforces the company’s role in supporting India’s clean energy infrastructure expansion.
