Vestas Secures 86 MW Wind Turbine Orders from JUWI in Germany

Vestas Northern and Central Europe has secured two wind energy orders totaling 86 MW from renewable energy developer JUWI GmbH in Germany. The orders, included in Vestas’ third-quarter 2026 order intake, will support two 43 MW wind projects at Mehring II and Breuberg.

Under the agreements, Vestas will supply, deliver, and commission seven V162-6.2 MW wind turbines for the 43 MW Mehring II project and an additional seven V162-6.2 MW turbines for the 43 MW Breuberg project.

Both contracts include 20-year Active Output Management 4000 (AOM 4000) service agreements, covering the long-term operation and maintenance of the turbines.

For the Mehring II project, turbine deliveries are scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2027, with commissioning expected in the second quarter of 2028. Deliveries for the Breuberg project are planned for the first quarter of 2028, followed by commissioning in the third quarter of 2028.
