Dinto Solar has signed an exclusive partnership agreement with Thailand-based JJ Energy Company Limited for 2026–2027 to expand the adoption of heterojunction (HJT) solar modules in Thailand and explore opportunities across Southeast Asia.
The agreement was signed in the presence of JJ Energy General Manager Kwon Joonghan and Dinto Solar Vice President Yang Zongyuan. As part of the initial agreement, JJ Energy will procure 30 MW of Dinto Solar’s G12-132 HJT modules for commercial and industrial (C&I) rooftop solar projects in Thailand.
Beyond module supply, the partnership will cover market development, project delivery and customer service. JJ Energy, established in 2023, operates as a renewable-energy service provider and PV module distributor, with a growing local channel and project network in Thailand.
The partnership combines JJ Energy’s local market and project capabilities with Dinto Solar’s experience in HJT technology, manufacturing and solar project deployment.
Thailand’s C&I solar market has continued to attract interest due to available rooftop space and increasing demand from businesses seeking to reduce electricity costs and optimize their energy mix. For C&I projects with limited rooftop area and high levels of self-consumption, module power generation per unit area and long-term operating performance are important considerations.
Dinto Solar’s G12-132 HJT module features a temperature coefficient of -0.24%/°C, which is designed to reduce power losses at higher operating temperatures. The module also uses butyl sealing and a coated dual-glass design aimed at improving airtightness, water resistance and durability in hot and humid environments.
The partnership is also expected to create opportunities in Southeast Asia’s aquatic and coastal solar segments, including floating PV, fishery-PV and offshore solar applications. These environments can expose solar modules to high humidity, salt mist and ultraviolet radiation, increasing requirements for corrosion resistance and material durability.
For such applications, Dinto Solar offers its Offshore-PV HJT series, which incorporates corrosion-resistant frames and light-conversion films. The company said the series has been deployed in China at the 300 MW Yancheng fishery-PV project and the 100 MW Denglong Township fishery-PV project.
Through the partnership, Dinto Solar and JJ Energy will seek to expand HJT module deployment in Thailand while developing opportunities for solar applications across Southeast Asia.
