Waaree Energies Limited has received an order for the supply of 2 GW of solar modules from a leading solar developer in India.
The company received the order on September 21, 2026, according to a regulatory filing with the stock exchanges. The customer has been described as a “renowned customer” and a leading solar developer, while its name has not been disclosed.
Under the order, Waaree Energies will supply 2 GW of solar modules during FY2026-27 and FY2027-28. The contract is classified as a one-time order.
The filing identifies the awarding entity as a domestic entity. However, Waaree Energies has not disclosed the financial value of the order.
The company also confirmed that the order does not involve any interest from its promoter or promoter group in the awarding entity. The contract does not fall under related-party transactions.
