Juniper Green Energy Limited has announced the full commissioning of its 150 MW wind-solar hybrid power project under a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL), following the successful commissioning of the final 5 MW wind turbine on October 12, 2026.
According to a regulatory filing submitted to the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and BSE Limited, the commissioning of the remaining 5 MW wind capacity marks the completion of the entire 150 MW hybrid renewable energy project. The company had previously provided updates on the project’s commissioning progress through stock exchange disclosures dated September 10 and September 11, 2026.
Juniper Green Energy stated that the commissioning of the final wind turbine was witnessed and confirmed by officials from the Gujarat Energy Development Agency (GEDA) and Paschim Gujarat Vij Company Limited (PGVCL). The company further informed that the formal commissioning certificate is expected to be issued shortly.
Following the completion of the project, the aggregate operational capacity of Juniper Green Energy Limited and its subsidiaries has reached approximately 2,745 MWp, along with approximately 603 MWh of operational battery energy storage system (BESS) capacity as of October 12, 2026.
The commissioning represents another milestone in Juniper Green Energy’s renewable energy portfolio development, strengthening its operational presence in wind-solar hybrid power generation. The project combines wind and solar energy technologies under a power purchase arrangement with GUVNL, contributing to the expansion of renewable electricity generation.
Wind-solar hybrid projects are designed to utilise the complementary generation characteristics of both renewable energy sources, potentially improving overall power generation availability and supporting greater renewable energy integration into the electricity grid.
The company’s operational battery energy storage portfolio of approximately 603 MWh also reflects its presence in the energy storage segment, alongside its expanding renewable power generation capacity.
The development was formally disclosed under Regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, through a filing signed by Prashant Pandia, Company Secretary and Compliance Officer of Juniper Green Energy Limited.
With the full commissioning of the 150 MW wind-solar hybrid project, Juniper Green Energy continues to expand its operational renewable energy portfolio while strengthening its participation in India’s transition towards cleaner and more diversified electricity generation.
