The National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) has invited bids for the operation and maintenance contract of a 10 MW solar project in Ramagundam, a city in the Peddapalli district of Telangana, for the period 2020-22. The contract period can be extended for three months or part thereof on mutual agreement with the same rates, terms and conditions of the contract. The last date for submission of bids is February 10, 2020.
The defect liability for the subject work shall be six months from the date of completion of work. Any defects observed during this period shall be rectified by the contracted company at no extra cost to NTPC. It is required that the bidder quote the rate and the applicable GST separately in the relevant BOQ sheet. If the agency does not mention any GST rate, it will be treated that the GST is included in the basic quote rate.
To participate in the competitive bidding process, bidders must have commissioned or operated and maintained at least one grid-connected solar power project at least 5 MW in capacity in the last seven years. Interested bidders are expected to submit an earnest money deposit (EMD) of ₹200,000 and tender fee amount of Rs 2,250. The bidder should also have a valid “A” class electrical license issued by concerned authorities.
The order can be executed by a single agency with value not less than Rs. 47.93 lakh. In case, the order is split into two, its values should not be less than Rs. 29.96 Lakhs each, and in case of three orders it should not be less than Rs. 23.96 Lakhs each.
The tender document further states that the average annual turnover of the bidder in the preceding three (03) financial years as on the date of scheduled bid opening should not be less than Rs. 59.91 lakhs.
