KSTAR PV project of One Belt And One Road

One of KSTAR overseas large-scale utility PV projects——Ukraine Nikopol 200MW (AC) PV Power Plant, is located in the vicinity of Nikopol in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, South of Ukraine.The project has already become one of the Chinese CARDS on “One Belt And One Road”,whose Initiative addresses an “infrastructure gap” and thus has potential to accelerate economic growth across the Asia Pacific area, Central and Eastern Europe and Africa.

The 200MW power plant will generate over 290 mln kWh of green electricity, strengthening energy independence in Ukraine.The 200MW Nikopol solar power plant occupies the territory of 400 hectares,which are low-yield lands and cannot be farmed efficiently.

The project is most intelligent Chinese solar PV system in East Europe. The solar panels,inverters,combiner boxes and control system are all “made in China”. The powerful inverters GSL2500MV35 and combiner boxes are all provided by KSTAR. The powerful GSL2500MV35 product is a DC 1000V turnkey solution (Inverter+MV Transformer+RMU), which incorporates features such as  night SVG function, modular design for easy maintenance, IP54 outdoor protection, max PV Voltage up to 1000V, full power output under 50℃  and AVC/AGC GSM2500C.  Higher efficiency, higher stability and higher reliability make “made in China” more convincing and trusted worldwide.

KSTAR provided 2.5MW ITS as the intelligent solution, which could save system costs, improve system efficiency, and eventually increase profit for the customer. Annual electricity generation is expected to meet the electricity demand of 140,000 households and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 300,000 tons.

The PV project works well in severe environment, like low & high temperate and

arid climate zone in the south, -38℃ for lowest temperature and 40.1℃for maximum temperature. KSTAR’s inverters  GSL2500MV35, cooling and overload capacity meets  requirements of the customer.
