Chhattisgarh to continue installation of Rooftop Solar Systems in Government Buildings on RESCO mode-plans a Pre-Bid Meeting via Video Conferencing.
The Chhattisgarh State Renewable Energy Development Agency (CREDA) has embraced a digital model to ensure seamless operations during the lockdown triggered by the COVID-19 pandemic. It is set to conduct pre-bid meetings via video conferencing.
To maintain social distancing and to consider all precautionary measures to reduce the transmission risk of the coronavirus, CREDA has rescheduled the pre-bid meeting on 13th May 2020, at 3:00 PM, via video conferencing, from its earlier scheduled date of 03rd April 2020.
The statutory body will also clear all queries of the prospective bidders online through video conferencing and e-mails.
“We are witnessing an unprecedented time due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We will be conducting the Pre-bid meeting through video conferencing. All queries of the interested/ prospective bidders desirous in participating in the tender shall be answered on the spot through video conferencing or later by e-mails” said Sanjeev Jain, Chief Engineer, CREDA

CREDA had issued the tender inviting bids for implementation of 20 MW grid-connected rooftop solar photovoltaic systems under the RESCO model with the tender facilitation assistance from Technical Assistance from the SUPRABHA Program (MNRE SBI The World Bank Initiative).
The scope of work includes design, engineering, supply, installation, testing and commissioning along with comprehensive operation & maintenance for 25 operational years of grid-connected rooftop solar PV project.
