Karnataka Government-owned, the Chamundeshwari Electricity Supply Corporation Limited (CESC), has requested proposals from vendors interested in establishing 15 MW rooftop solar plants for residential usage in Mysore under phase-II of MNRE’s Grid Connected Rooftop Solar Scheme.
The deadline for bid submissions is January 29, 2022, and on January 25, the pre-bid meeting will take place. On February 3 the techno-commercial bids will be opened.
According to the tender document, the scope of the project includes the site survey, supply, design, installation, erection, testing and commissioning.
The bidders also have to provide the warranty and the selected bidder is supposed to provide 5 years of comprehensive Operation and Maintenance of grid-connected rooftop solar plant for residential consumers of various capacities which will account for a total of 15 MW capacity.
Bidders must provide the Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) or bid bond amount, depending on the projected capacity of the solar plants. For category A, the proposed capacity is 1kW, 2kW and 3kW, and EMD will be Rs 37.54 lakhs. For categories, B, C, and D, the declared capacity is between 3kW to 10kW, 10kW to 100kW, 100kW to 500kW, with Rs 15 lakhs, Rs 11.47 lakhs, Rs 5.38 lakhs EMD, respectively.
For categories A and B, the bidder must have designed, delivered, installed, and commissioned at least 1MW of grid-connected rooftop solar projects completed prior to the bid opening date.
The applicant should have the average annual turnover of Rs 1.5 Crore/MW of capacity offered in its bid in any of the previous 3 fiscal years ending 31.03.2021, subject to the restriction that the Bidder has completed at least one fiscal year.
For categories C and D, the bidder must have designed, supplied, installed, and commissioned at least 500kW of grid-connected rooftop solar projects completed prior to the bid opening date.
The bidder should have an average annual turnover of Rs 1 Crore/MW of capacity offered in its Bid in any of the past 3 three fiscal years ending 31.03.2021, subject to the condition that the bidder has completed at least one fiscal year.
