HFM Solar Commissions 1.5 MW Roof Top Solar Power Plant at Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) 

Rooftop Solar Power Developer, HFM Solar has commissioned multiple rooftop solar power plants at the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation, with a total generation capacity of 1.5 MW. These solar plants have been installed under the RESCO model, and have been built in collaboration with SECI and MNRE.

Dharmendra Jain, Director, HFM Solar said, HFM Solar has unique rooftop solar power solutions for various customers to lower their energy costs and meet their greenhouse gas emission reduction targets. DMRC is a pioneer in the Metro Sector for Solar Power Generation & is on course to become the world’s first fully solar-powered transport system. We are pleased to partner with DMRC in reducing their emissions through the deployment of solar energy in their facilities across New Delhi. The power generated will be used for the lighting and other auxiliary requirements of the Metro Stations and Depot Buildings.

India is at an inflection point in transitioning to renewables, with Solar energy has taken a central place in India’s National Action Plan on Climate Change. As a Solar Developer, we would like to contribute as much as possible, in order to achieve India’s Climate Goals.
