TotalEnergies completed a 7MWp solar installation for a major textile company. This is the largest ground-mounted behind the-meter solar system in Western India.
The solar system, which has approximately 14,000 modules, will be installed at the North Indian textile giant’s manufacturing plant. It will produce around 12 GWh per year of electricity and reduce carbon emissions by more than 7,800 tons annually. This is equivalent to taking over 1,500 cars off the roads.
TotalEnergies client will not only reduce its carbon footprint but also be able lower its energy costs by using clean energy for 25 years, without any upfront investment.
