Jakson Group’s Chairman and Managing Director, Mr. Sameer Gupta has been elected as Chairman, CII National Committee of Aatmanirbhar Bharat for Renewable Energy Manufacturing for the year 2022-2023.
Sameer Gupta, a second-generation entrepreneur joined Jakson in 1991. He led Jakson’s transformation from a genset manufacturer company to India’s most prominent energy & infrastructure firm. His expertise includes Distributed Energy, Solar Solutions & EPC Solutions & New Energies like Battery Energy, Hybrids & Hydrogen Solutions. Sameer graduated from Pune University in Electronics Engineering and is an alumnus of Harvard Business School.
Mr. Gupta’s election as Chairman demonstrates his conviction towards making India Aatmanirbhar. He is committed to the nation’s ambitious target to achieve 500 GW of renewable energy installed capacity by 2030 and to create outcomes that drive sustainable business while strengthening the environment and building livelihoods. Time and again, his leadership decisions echoed his commitment to the Country’s mission of mitigating climate change.
