Narmada Hydroelectric Development Corporation (NHDC), a joint venture between NHPC and the Madhya Pradesh government, has requested bid submissions for the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of an 88 MW floating solar project at the Omkareshwar reservoir in Madhya Pradesh’s Khandwa district.
The proposals must be submitted by June 29, 2022, which will be opened on June 30. As an earnest money deposit, bidders must provide Rs 56 million.
The project must be completed in 13 months, and the selected bidder will also be responsible for the project’s management and maintenance for the next five years.
To compete in the tender, bidders must have completed an EPC solar power project as a contractor or developer within the previous 7 years as of the last day of the month before the bid submission deadline.
They should have developed, constructed, delivered, and commissioned grid-connected solar power projects with a total capacity of 40 MW or higher, with one project having a capacity of 10 MW or higher.
The reference grid-connected solar power plant of 10 MW or higher capacity shall be created by the bidder for itself or any other client in a single location.
Biddersโ working capital, defined as current assets less current liabilities, should be at least twice the monthly cash flow needed, that is, Rs 870 million.
Further, their average annual turnover in the 3 years before March 31, 2022, shall be Rs 7.81 billion. Their net worth should have been positive in three of the past five fiscal years.
