An Indian Railways rail coach manufacturing plant, Rail Coach Factory Raebareli (RCFRBL), has published a notice requesting bids for the operation and maintenance (O&M) of 3 megawatts (MW) of solar projects for 3 years at the Modern Coach Factory in Raebareli, Uttar Pradesh.
Bids must be submitted by June 28, 2022, which will be unveiled the same day.
Bidders must submit a Rs 132,700 earnest money deposit. Within 30 days of receiving the acceptance letter, the successful bidder must present a performance guarantee equal to 10% of the contract value, which must be submitted in four installments of 2.5 percent of the contract value each.
For participating in the bidding process, applicants must have built, delivered, tested, and commissioned a solar power project with a converter and electrical switchgear with a capacity of at least 1 MW.
Alternatively, bidders must have signed a yearly maintenance contract for a solar power project with a capacity of at least 1 MW.
Bidders must have secured contractual payments totaling at least 150% of the tender’s stated value in the previous 3 fiscal years and the current fiscal year prior to the tender’s opening date. They must present certifications that can be attested by the client or a chartered accountant’s audited balance sheet.
They must have completed one equivalent job worth at least 35% of the promoted bid value over the previous 3 fiscal years and the current fiscal year up to the date of tender opening.
Bidders must have access to or should have accessible lines of credit, liquid assets, and other financial resources to satisfy cash flow equal to 5% of the projected value net of the applicant’s obligations to other contracts. A chartered accountant’s audited balance or a banking reference must be supplied.
