Malakoff Radiance To Develop Solar Energy System At Senai Airport

Malakoff Radiance Sdn Bhd, the solar arm of Malakoff Corporation Berhad, and Senai Airport Terminal Services Sdn Bhd have inked a Solar Power Purchase Agreement (SPPA) for the development and operation of a solar energy system at Senai Airport, Johor. The agreement was signed by Encik Anwar Syahrin Abdul Ajib, Malakoff’s Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, and Encik Kennedy Ayu, CEO of Senai Airport Terminal Services Sdn Bhd at a signing ceremony that was held at Senai Airport.

GreenYellow Bets On The Potential Of The Vietnam Solar Market

GreenYellow Vietnam, a renewable energy company from France that provides comprehensive services for solar projects and energy efficiency projects, recently acquired a 70% stake. A subsidiary of Qair – a fast-growing independent French renewable energy producer in Europe, Brazil, and Africa – and a 49.5 MWp solar farm operating in Pacify. This acquisition is based on the company’s desire to expand its operations in Southeast Asia and GreenYellow officially became the operator of the Binh Dinh solar power project with a capacity of 49.5 MWp.

ESDM, Indonesia Receives Solar PV Laboratory Equipment Grant From The Swiss Government

The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources through the ESDM Human Resources Development Agency received a package of grants for Solar Photovoltaic Laboratory equipment from the Swiss Government through the Renewable Energy Skills Development (RESD) cooperation project funded by the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs SECO. The signing of the Minutes of Handover (BAST) was carried out by Martin Stottele as the Project Leader of RESD and Susetyo Edi Prabowo as Head of the Center for Development of Human Resources for Electricity, New Energy, Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation (PPSDM KEBTKE).

PAVI Green Aims To Commission 3 Solar Projects By 2023

PAVI Green Renewable Energy Inc., Villar Group is aiming to begin commercial operations and commissioning of 3 solar projects in the coming year as it expands its portfolio. These three projects include the Naga solar power plant project of 40.4 megawatts, the Bataan 20-megawatt solar power facility, and the San Vicente, Camarines Norte solar power facility of 36 MW. Robert Marlon Pereja, chief operating officer of PAVI Green, stated that the average investment in the projects was $810,000 per megawatt. At the beginning of this year, the company announced plans to invest P40 billion in the development and construction of 1,000 megawatts in capacity within three to five years.

JLand Group Signs MOU With Mitsui To Develop Captive Solar Farm In Sedenak Tech Park

Johor Corporation (JCorp) through its wholly owned subsidiary JLand Group Sdn Bhd (JLG) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to jointly explore prospective business opportunities and strategic project developments in Ibrahim Technopolis (IBTEC) including Sedenak Tech Park (STeP), over the next two to three years. Under this strategic collaboration, STeP, the flagship 700-acre data centre hub, is poised to attract the global hyperscale data centres, not only by offering future availability of RE but also with comprehensive supporting packages including competitive green project financing from the market.

Solarvest Launches Green Charging Infrastructure PowerBee in Malaysia

Clean energy expert, Solarvest Holdings Berhad (Solarvest) today launched an electric vehicle (EV) charging and mobility solution called “PowerBee”, to accelerate the adoption of clean electrified transportation in Malaysia. Following Malaysia’s unveiling of Low Carbon Nation Aspiration 2040 initiatives, the national target is to grow its EV market share from less than 1% in 2018 to 38% by 2040. As such, the launch of PowerBee’s low carbon mobility solution is aimed to boost the readiness of grid infrastructures and charging facilities to accommodate the increase in EVs.

Keppel Infrastructure Partners MET Group to Pursue Western European Renewables Opportunities

Keppel Infrastructure Holdings Pte Ltd (KI) has formed a JV company, Keppel MET Renewables AG (Keppel MET Renewables), with Swiss-based integrated European energy company MET Holding AG (MET Group), to pursue renewable energy opportunities in Western Europe. Keppel Infrastructure is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Keppel Corporation, a Singapore flagship multinational company providing solutions for sustainable urbanisation.

Reservoir Link Secures 5 Solar Contracts Worth RM12.05 Million

Reservoir Link Energy Bhd, an energy-related services provider, announced that its 51% owned subsidiary Founder Energy Sdn Bhd, has won 5 solar contracts, between October and November 2022, valued at RM12.05 million. These contracts primarily involve the development of solar energy-related facilities in Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, and Perak where the scope of services is benched on Reservoir Link’s relevant expertise in the solar renewable segment. The projects are targeted to be completed between the end of 2022 and mid-2023.
