The Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir Union Territory (UT) is inviting online tenders from eligible bidders for the engagement of consultants to oversee the implementation of Solar Power and Other Renewable Energy (RE) Projects/Schemes in the region. The procurement process follows a Two-Cover system and is managed through e-tendering.
The request for selection (RFS) of bidders outlines the necessary criteria and technical specifications for the projects. Interested parties can access the complete bidding document, containing qualifying information, eligibility criteria, technical specifications, the bill of quantities (BOQ), terms and conditions of the contract, and other pertinent details, from the official website jktenders.gov.in.
The period of availability for the bid document online spans from August 18, 2023, to September 12, 2023, up to 5:00 PM. Bid submission concludes on September 12, 2023, at 5:00 PM, followed by the opening of the Technical Bids on September 13, 2023, at 11:00 AM. Bidders are required to pay a non-refundable cost of Rs 20,000 for the bid document through e-transfer to CEO JAKEDA’s account.
Additionally, bidders who intend to qualify for the project must submit an earnest money deposit (EMD) of Rs 20,00,000 in the form of a Bank Guarantee pledged to the Chief Executive Officer of J&K Energy Development Agency. This EMD remains valid for 12 months from the submission of bids. The offer’s validity stands for 36 months from the finalization of the tender.
