In a significant step towards bolstering sustainable economic development in Dubai, HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), welcomed Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President and CEO of Dubai Chambers. Furthermore, HE Al Tayer underlined DEWA’s full support for the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan, a blueprint for the city’s future that aims to attract foreign investments in new sectors and stimulate economic activity. DEWA’s expertise in sustainable development and digital transformation will play a pivotal role in realizing the objectives outlined in the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan.
HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer also highlighted DEWA’s successful Independent Power and Water Producer (IPWP) model, which encourages foreign investments and has attracted AED 40 billion in investments. This model has significantly contributed to Dubai’s sustainable energy and water supply.
