Amarenco, H2 Global Energy Consortium Teams Up with Jordan’s Ministry for €9 Billion Green Ammonia Project

In a groundbreaking collaboration, Amarenco and H2 Global Energy, part of a consortium, have forged a historic agreement with Jordan’s Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, represented by HE Dr. Saleh Al-Kharabsheh. This pivotal partnership marks the initiation of a revolutionary green hydrogen/ammonia production facility in Jordan, with an anticipated investment totaling €9 billion. Mr. Yazan Faouri signed the agreement on behalf of the consortium.

Project Overview

Upon completion, the facility aims to annually produce 1 million metric tons of green ammonia. This ambitious venture not only underscores innovative energy solutions but also highlights the consortium’s dedication to sustainable and eco-friendly practices. The production process will leverage an impressive 4.5GW of renewable energy, positioning Jordan as a key player in the global green energy sector.
