Bboxx and EnerTech Announce 100 Million Electrification Platform, Pledging Access to Clean Energy for Millions in Africa

In a landmark announcement at COP28, Bboxx and EnerTech revealed a groundbreaking partnership forming an electrification platform valued at up to $100 million. This transformative initiative aims to bring clean energy, clean cooking, e-mobility services, and innovative products to millions across Africa.

Bboxx, known for its data-driven super platform, and EnerTech, a Kuwait-based innovator specializing in end-to-end sustainability solutions, have joined forces to drive impactful change across sub-Saharan Africa. Their collaboration anticipates expanding Bboxx’s reach from serving 3.6 million people to impacting 36 million individuals by 2028.

This strategic alliance marks a significant leap for Bboxx, amplifying its role in transforming lives from Lagos to Nairobi. The company’s strategy revolves around offering diverse innovative products at scale throughout the continent, facilitated by its integrated operating system, Bboxx Pulse.

The investment from EnerTech, set to commence in the first quarter of 2024, is poised to accelerate the development and deployment of essential services. This infusion of funds is expected to deepen Bboxx’s market penetration, thereby intensifying its positive influence on underserved communities.
