V.tal Signs Solar Energy Agreements with Atiaia Energia and Atlas Brasil Energia

V.tal, a leading infrastructure company for telecommunications and digital services, has signed two significant solar energy self-production agreements. These agreements approved by CADE, involve partnerships with generators Atiaia Energia and Atlas Brasil Energia.

Under the agreement with Atiaia Energia, V.tal will establish two consortia involving a V.tal group company and the special purpose companies Sol do Agreste Geraรงรฃo de Energia Ltda. and Solar do Nordeste Energia Renovรกvel Ltda, both controlled by Atiaia. These consortia will facilitate the self-production project of electrical energy for the shared exploitation of the Sol do Agreste I, IV, and V projects. This photovoltaic complex is located in the municipalities of Tacaimbรณ and Sรฃo Caetano, Pernambuco, and has a total capacity of 103 MW. According to Aneel’s generation expansion monitoring system, the plants are expected to begin operations in 2026.

The agreement with Atlas Brasil Energia will create nine consortia for the self-production of electrical energy, allowing for the shared exploitation of solar plants located in the photovoltaic complex in Arinos and Buritizeiro, Minas Gerais. Details about the specific plants involved were not disclosed in public documents.

The completion of these deals is still pending approval from Aneel. Financial terms of the agreements were not disclosed.
