PowerTree Appoints AFRY for Engineering Services in Chile’s 45MW Solar Portfolio

PowerTree, an international leader in renewable energy, has engaged AFRY to provide detailed engineering services for the construction and electrical interconnection of a 45MW solar portfolio. This initiative will contribute clean energy to Chile’s national grid.

PowerTree, an Independent Power Producer (IPP) known for developing, building, and managing solar plants globally, is advancing its solar development efforts in Chile through this partnership. AFRY, a prominent engineering consulting firm, will deliver expertise across 15 distinct solar photovoltaic (PV) projects, each with a capacity of 3MW, distributed from the north to the south of Chile.

AFRY is one of the largest power sector engineering consulting firms in Latin America, supporting the region’s transition towards clean energy.
