TCIL Seeks Consortium Partners for 10 MW Rooftop Solar Project in Bhutan

Telecommunications Consultants India Ltd. (TCIL), a Government of India enterprise under the Department of Telecommunications, Ministry of Communications, has issued an Expression of Interest (EOI) for a significant renewable energy project in Bhutan. The EOI, dated July 4, 2024, seeks consortium partners for the design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of grid-connected distributed (rooftop) solar photovoltaic systems.

The EOI highlights TCIL’s intention to participate in a client tender, which will be disclosed after signing a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA). Interested bidders must submit their proposals online through the Government e-Procurement System (GePNIC) portal. The final submission deadline on July 9, 2024.

Eligible bidders must be Indian registered companies or firms with a proven track record in similar projects. Financial criteria include an average annual turnover of at least Rs 25 crore over the past three financial years and a positive net worth as of March 31, 2023. Additionally, bidders must demonstrate successful completion of similar works, including two projects worth Rs 15 crore each and 10 MWp of rooftop solar installations in the last five years.
