At JA Solar, we recognize that transportation and storage are crucial components of the green value chain. That’s why we’re committed to reducing carbon emissions at every stage.
We’ve made significant strides by converting 96% of our transport vehicles, including forklifts, loaders, and stackers, to electric alternatives. This shift is a key part of our effort to build zero-carbon green factories, effectively cutting diesel consumption and GHG emissions.
We’re exploring green transportation modes like sea-rail combined and barge transport, while promoting clean energy sources such as biomass fuel and methanol. We’re also enhancing efficiency through three-dimensional warehousing and multimodal transport.
In addition, we’re pioneering green packaging solutions. In 2023, we’ve continued to recycle used paper pulp for carton production and have partnered with suppliers to replace traditional packaging with recyclable silicon pallet crates. This ensures that silicon packaging is fully recycled.
Together, these initiatives are helping us lead the way toward a more sustainable future.
