SJVN Green Energy Limited Invites Tender for Land Acquisition for Major Solar Power Initiative in Rajasthan

SJVN Green Energy Limited (SGEL) has announced an online open tender for the outright purchase or long-term lease of up to 2000 acres of land in the vicinity of the 765/400/220 kV Bikaner-IV Pooling Station, Rajasthan. This initiative is aimed at setting up solar power projects with a cumulative capacity of up to 500 MW.

• Scope of Work:
  • Purchase or lease of land (up to 2000 acres) in proximity to the Bikaner-IV Pooling Station.
  • Land development services.
  • Construction of GI chain link wire fencing along the land boundary and main entry gate.

Bidders are invited to offer multiple land parcels, with a maximum of 2800 acres allowed, provided each parcel is either 400 acres or a multiple of 400 acres, up to 2000 acres. The distance from the nearest land point to the Bikaner-IV Pooling Station must not exceed:

• 20 km for 400-acre parcels.
• 25 km for parcels of 800 acres or more.
• Tender Cost: INR 5000 plus 18% GST (non-refundable). Payment should be made via electronic transfer to the State Bank of India account provided in the tender document.
• Bid Security/EMD:
  • INR 40 lakhs for 400 acres
  • INR 80 lakhs for 800 acres
  • INR 1.20 crores for 1200 acres
  • INR 1.60 crores for 1600 acres
  • INR 2 crores for 2000 acres and above
• Tender Document Access: Available from August 12, 2024, 18:00 hrs to September 2, 2024, 12:00 hrs IST. Interested bidders must pay the tender cost and request document access via email.
• Pre-Bid Meeting: August 20, 2024, at 11:00 hrs at SGEL’s Corporate Headquarters, Shimla. Virtual attendance is available through a provided VC link.
• Bid Submission Deadlines:
  • Submission of bids: September 3, 2024, by 14:00 hrs IST.
  • Opening of Techno-commercial Bids: September 3, 2024, at 15:00 hrs IST.
