Sunrun Becomes First Storage-Plus-Solar Company to Surpass 1 Million Customers in the U.S

Sunrun, a leading U.S. provider of clean energy as a subscription service, announced  that it has become the first and only storage-plus-solar company to surpass 1 million customers. This achievement cements Sunrun’s position as the largest residential clean energy system developer in the country. The company now powers one in every five home solar systems nationwide, benefiting 1 million families, or roughly 3 million people. This milestone follows record-breaking storage system installations, marking Sunrun’s evolution from a solar-only to a multi-product clean energy business.
