Oriana Power Limited Secures Rs. 247.88 Crore Solar Project Order from Bharat Petroleum

Oriana Power Limited has announced a significant new order for a solar power project from Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited, valued at Rs. 247.88 Crores. Under the terms of the agreement, Oriana Power will undertake the development of a ground-mounted solar project with a total capacity of 52 MW. This project will be executed under the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) segment, including Central Transmission Utility (CTU) approval and transmission line construction. Additionally, the contract includes comprehensive Operations & Maintenance (O&M) support for a duration of five years.

As of August 6, 2024, Oriana Power reported a cumulative capacity of over 390 MW under execution. The company has successfully delivered more than 240 MW of projects to date and has an additional 900 MW of projects in the pipeline. Oriana Power’s diverse portfolio spans 22 states across India, with approximately 920 acres of land bank secured for renewable energy projects.

Looking ahead, Oriana Power plans to expand its operations to the Middle East, Africa, and Europe. The company has also recently formed a strategic partnership with US-based Green Hydrogen electrolyser manufacturer Splitwaters. Additionally, Oriana Power will be establishing a Giga-factory for producing electrolysers and Balance of Plant (BOP) modules, crucial for green hydrogen and e-fuels production, with a planned capacity of 500 MW to be operational by 2026 and another 500 MW to be added in 2027.
