Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Managing Director and CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), extended his congratulations to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, on the 19th anniversary of his accession as Ruler of Dubai.
Reflecting on Sheikh Mohammed’s nearly two decades of leadership, Al Tayer highlighted his innovative and forward-thinking vision, which has positioned Dubai as a global leader in sustainability, happiness, and prosperity. “His Highness has established an exceptional leadership model that not only anticipates the future but also shapes it through strategic planning and a commitment to building a brighter future,” said Al Tayer.
Al Tayer noted that Sheikh Mohammed’s governance has turned Dubai into a global beacon, achieving significant milestones that enhance the well-being of its residents and inspire nations worldwide. “Under his wise leadership, the UAE Government serves as a global role model for good governance, efficiency, and innovation, advancing future-ready solutions that support the Sustainable Development Goals,” he added.

Al Tayer emphasized that DEWA’s strategies and initiatives are directly inspired by Sheikh Mohammed’s vision and determination. “We continue to develop pioneering projects in the energy and water sectors, striving for excellence and innovation to strengthen Dubai’s position as a global hub for creativity and as a top destination for living, working, and investing,” he said.
On the occasion, Al Tayer reaffirmed DEWA’s loyalty and commitment to the UAE’s leadership. “We pledge to Allah Almighty to remain faithful to our nation and contribute to achieving the vision of our wise leadership, making Dubai the smartest and happiest city in the world,” he concluded.
