Enerside to Invest €55 Million in Three Solar Parks in Chile

Enerside, a Spanish leader in the photovoltaic and battery solar industry, has announced the construction of three new solar parks in Chile with an investment exceeding €55 million. This initiative aligns with the company’s Impulsa plan, which aims to solidify Enerside’s position as an independent power producer (IPP). In 2024, Enerside connected 13 MW of capacity in Chile, and by 2025, it plans to expand its portfolio to 43 MW of hybrid solar and battery energy projects. These parks, integrating solar panels with 4-hour lithium batteries, will enable energy sales at premium prices during night hours, emphasizing innovative and efficient renewable energy solutions.

Scheduled for construction in 2025, the projects combine Enerside’s in-house developments and acquisitions completed in 2024. Enerside’s internal teams will oversee construction, collaborating with a specialized builder and supported by a leading investment bank for financing. Once operational, the parks are expected to generate annual recurring revenues of over €8 million, reinforcing Enerside’s commitment to sustainable energy and financial growth.”This project represents a new milestone within our ‘Impulsa’ Plan, which we launched in early 2024, with a clear focus on finding the most profitable businesses,” commented Enerside CEO Joatham Grange. “In a context of greater uncertainty for the renewable energy sector, such as the one we have experienced in the last two years, Enerside anticipated the challenges of the market, prioritizing the generation of recurring revenues and betting on innovative solutions that maximize efficiency and profitability,” explains the CEO. “With this investment, we seek to consolidate our position and continue to make progress towards meeting our strategic objectives,” concluded Joatham Grange.
